Sangaku

Brief: Venue Identity for a multipurpose events centre in Osaka, Japan, designed by architect Zaha Hadid.

Inspired by Japanese sangaku tablets, the design is a flexible brand system representing connection between many different facets of culture and art.
     Based on the Japanese Theorem in mathematics, the brand shape always has 7 sides and 7 points divided into triangles. Any of the shapes possible can be used in the branding for the events centre.
